Woody's special
This bike started as a 1996 Sportster 1200 S. The front forks were replaced with a 40 mm wide glide front end.  To accommodate forward controls, mounts were welded on the frame. The frame was then cut. We moved the oil tank and electrical to fit a drop seat, which was custom made by "woody".We then fabricated the frame to fit the wide Bobtail rear fender. Next the swing arm was widened and lengthened  to fit a 240 rear tire. A custom transmission pulley offset was made in house to accommodate the rear tire, also. The battery box was moved into the swing arm and the oil tank was made to look like the rear fender was extending under the seat area. The engine is now pushing around 100 hp. The heads were done by John Sachs Racing, we installed  Screamin' Eagle Pistons and cam,  Daytona Twin Tec ignition and a Miukni Carb. The gas tank was changed out to a 2004 Sportster tank, Arlen Ness hand control used on the stock handlebars with stock gauges. Custom tailight was made and a custom license plate bracket to give this Sportster a "one of a kind" look.
On this Road King the customer had only 17 miles on it when he brought it in to increase the performance. Our machinist " 8-Ball" installed a 1550 conversion kit, ported, polished, and flowed the heads to match the new cam. We also change it over to gear drive.Bill Beaumont, one of the best electrical mechanics around, installed Climax custom control handlebars to give the front of the bike a clean look, no cables showing. We also lowered the front and rear of the bike. A 240 rear tire on the back gives this bike a look all of its own. We kept the stock look , but had to cut the frame in half to accommodate a big rear tire, no kit here, all fabrication performed by Evil Twin. To finish it off we intalled Thunderheader Exhaust. The look " One of a Kind"

On this Softail, the customer wanted to convert it to a chopper but his wife liked the look of the back of the bike. So we left the rear of the bike stock, because you have to keep your wife happy, and modified the front of the bike. First we stretched the backbone 7" and down tubes 9", installed raked 7 degree triple trees and put a 10 over wide glide front end.  Next we modified a Jesse James Villian tank and molded it to accommodate the seat and sit lower on the frame. Then came new handlebars, custom made tweak bar, and fabricated new exhaust. After all the fabrication the whole bike had to be disassembled  and brought to paint...finished product a "One of a kind ride."
